General principle
A request can be cancelled only if it has not yet been completed, submitted to an external payment rail, submitted to the issuer for irreversible processing, sent for card production or dispatch, or otherwise made final by the applicable system or rules.
Virtual card requests
A virtual card request may be cancelled before issuance if the app still allows cancellation or support confirms that issuance has not been completed. Once the virtual card has been issued, cancellation is handled as card closure, blocking, or replacement rather than cancellation of the original request.
Transfers and withdrawals
Transfer or withdrawal instructions may be impossible to cancel after confirmation. If the transfer has already been submitted, Mon may assist with tracing, recall, return, refund, or dispute workflows where available, but recovery is not guaranteed.
Card and account closure
If the customer has only one Mon payment account and closes only the card, only the card may be closed or blocked and the payment account may remain open unless the customer also requests account closure, the issuer requires closure, the account is no longer eligible, or another legal, security, compliance, or operational reason requires account action.
Account closure
You may cancel an account-closure request before final closure if the account is still active and the request has not been executed. If the account has already been closed or deactivated by issuer instruction, reactivation may require eligibility checks, issuer approval, and additional review.
