Identity verification
Mon verifies customers before account and card access is granted. Verification may include identity document capture, biometric or liveness checks, address or country confirmation, phone and email verification, sanctions screening, politically exposed person checks, adverse media checks, and manual review where needed.
Ongoing monitoring
Mon monitors activity for fraud, sanctions, unusual patterns, prohibited activity, account misuse, chargeback risk, recovery abuse, and suspicious transaction behavior. Monitoring may occur before, during, and after transactions.
Additional information
Mon may ask for source of funds, source of wealth, proof of address, transaction purpose, beneficiary information, business or employment information, or supporting evidence. Refusal or failure to provide requested information may result in limits, delays, rejection, suspension, wind-down, or closure.
Account recovery
Lost-phone, forgotten-PIN, and other sensitive recovery flows may require renewed identity checks and operator review before access is restored or sensitive changes are approved.
Reporting and record keeping
Mon may retain records, file reports, or share information with competent authorities, issuers, payment providers, card scheme participants, and law enforcement where required by law or necessary to prevent financial crime.
